Different police stations have slightly different ways of doing things. Some police stations are known for their thorough and diligent approach to police procedures, whilst others are known for cutting corners. Please remember that the police must comply with statutory provisions and PACE Codes of Practice when processing a drink driving suspect. We would be pleased to discuss the individual police station that you with you and the concerns we might have.
If you are required to attend Oxford Magistrates' Court, you were probably taken to one of the following police stations;
- Abingdon Police Station – the main custody suite serving Oxford and South Oxfordshire.
- Banbury Police Station – the principal custody suite for North Oxfordshire.
- St Aldates Police Station, Oxford – the city centre police station, where detainees may initially be processed before transfer if required.
